Since Valentine's day is just around the corner, I wanted to share the Table setting I styled for last year's Valentine's. Sorry for not so great pictures, they were all taken at night.
My inspiration was the hearts ribbon in 3 shades of pink I got at Target dollar section last year. Here is how it looked before dinner.
The drink is Grenadine and plain soda in a repurposed Starbucks coffee bottle.
Sushi and homemade cucumber sandwiches.
White plates & placemats from TJ Maxx. Silverware from Macy's (preowned), napkins & napkin rings preowned, Table runner fabric from Jo Ann.
This is little one's plate setting.
Aww… she was still a baby then. I love this picture.
The cake is Tiramisu from Buca Di Beppo. Their tiramisu is huge, I cut it with a heart cookie cutter to make go with the theme.
It was a lot of fun putting this together. I am looking forward to doing this again this year.
